Managing and protecting our water resources

today. As our population increases, human demands for water will grow. But we still need to ensure that there is adequate water for agriculture, industry and the environment. Decisions made now will have far reaching consequences for the livelihood of our state.

Thank you to the over 3,000 Texans that submitted comments on TCEQ’s proposed environmental flow rule for the and the As currently proposed, this rule fails to protect the region’s fish and wildlife populations – and the industries that depend on them. It will be considered for adoption by the TCEQ Commissions in August 2012.
