Guadalupe San Antonio Bays Area The Expert Science Team submitted its recommendations on the amount of water necessary to ensure a sound ecological environment to the Stakeholder Committee on March 1, 2011. The Stakeholder Committee has until September 1, 2011 to submit its recommendations regarding environmental flow standards and strategies to meet those standards to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Environmental Flows Advisory Group. Both groups are currently meeting regularly; please see the TCEQ website for meeting details and to sign up for updates.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is to adopt environmental flow standards for the Guadalupe, San Antonio, Mission, & Aransas Rivers/Mission, Copano, Aransas & San Antonio Bays Area by September 1, 2012. This will be a formal rule-making process and there will be an opportunity for public comment.
